1964-1970: studied at the Eastern
Languages Department of Moscow State University
1965-1967: studied at the International
Relations Department of the Marxism- Leninism
University.
1970-1972: served in Tbilisi, at the
political department headquarters of the
Caucasian military district.
1972-1977: was a part-timer of the Law
Department of Moscow State University.
1973-1975: worked at the Soviet Peace
Defence Committee, at the department for West
-European studies.
January - May 1975: worked at the faculty
office of the Tradeunions Higher School.
1975-1983: worked at the International
Bars Association.
1983-1990: head of the Law department at
the "Mir" Publishing House.
1990 and on: the LDPR leader.
1991: ran for the Presidential post .
1993-1995: a 5-th Russian State Duma
deputy, the LDPR Faction leader.
December, 1995: elected a 6-th Russian
State Duma deputy.
January 1996: was nominated as a
Presidential candidate from the LDPR.
On June, 16 1996 the Presidential
elections were held in Russia. According to
Central Electoral Commissions early returns, by June,18
1996 Vladimir Zhirinovsky received 5,78
percent of votes and was eliminated from the race
for the Kremlin. |
